For the 18th Masterclass organized by ICF Bulgaria we have invited Dr Jonathan Passmore, an internationaly recognized psychologist, coach, speaker and author.
THE TOPIC:
Positive Psychology & Mindfulness
the new trend in coaching, buseness and wellbeing
This session will talk about the use of positive psychology and mindfulness approaches in coaching, for both workplace and wellbeing coaching. Jonathan will talk about three different techniques from positive psychology and three different mindfulness approaches and how each can be used with clients. The session will include opportunities to discuss the techniques in exercises and activities and will provide a number of take-away actions which you can apply in your own coaching practice.
In addition Jonathan will also talk about his European Coaching Research project. The survey takes around 20 minutes on average to complete and is available in English and Bulgarian. Please take part before the session at https://www.henley.ac.uk/executive-education/current-research/
WHO IS Dr JONATHAN PASSMORE?
Jonathan is a psychologist, coach, speaker and author. He has written and edited 30 books and nearly 100 scientific papers and book chapters, including the best selling 'Excellence in Coaching' and 'Top Business Models' . He is the director of the Coaching Centre at Henley Business School, and holds a professorship at the University of Evora. Prior to join Henley Jonathan has worked for PWC, IBM and OPM as a coach and consultant. a large volume of his papers are available for free download on Researchgate.
Jonathan is leading largest and most ambitious coaching research project undertaken to date on Coaching and Mentoring. The project is being run across 51 countries in Europe through a collaboration of 51 teams of researchers and practitioners from all of the countries across Europe from Iceland to Turkey and Russia to Kosova. The research is available in Bulgarian thanks to Evgenia Georgieva, Chair of the Ethical Commeeteee of ICF Bulgaria and is supported by ICF Bulgaria. By taking part, you have the opportunity for your voice to be heard in this European conversation, as well as the chance to win an Apple iPad and other prizes in a Prize draw. The results of the research will be proided in Bulgarian in Autumn 2017.
